A Midtown assignment · Fictional AI comedy

The Star Was Not in the Brief

Nick volunteers for a Rockefeller-sized decorating job. The star has its own ideas.

Fictional AI-generated comedy. The giant display is fictional and does not represent coverage from one retail set. The star is a separate story prop. Dialogue is captioned in the video.

A modest amount of atmosphere.

Nick arrives with a capable crew and complete confidence. Marnie and Bram have branches to negotiate. The reindeer have mistaken the lower ones for refreshments. Nick’s contribution is the final star—and a brief reconsideration of his grooming routine.

The lights you can bring home.

The separately selected retail lights are Twinkly Strings Gold & Silver, model TWS400GOP-GUS: 400 LEDs across 105 feet / 32 metres, with app-controlled mapping and an amber-to-cool-white palette. The IP44-rated set supports indoor and outdoor use.

These flexible strands are arranged by hand. They are not an instant drop-on decoration, and the star in the comedy is not included. Check the selected version, dimensions and setup requirements on the current listing.

An original fictional AI comedy, not a real Rockefeller Center installation or endorsement. No supplier relationship is claimed. The separate star gag does not represent a defect in the Twinkly lights; we have not tested the retail set.

Take your time. Nick is occupied.
